I captured this wintry landscape last month, and I wanted to capture the white on the trees and on the unplowed street, before it disappeared. Since I wanted to show the breadth of the snowy scene in front of me, I shot wide at 24mm. I stood in the middle of the empty street so that the image would be centered, which I couldn't have done on a normal day, as this is a main thoroughfare in our little city.
