I'm Liz. I have the titles of wife, military spouse, mom, daughter, friend, photographer, foster dog mom, or that over caffeinated woman in the robe watching the birds. I picked up the camera on a deployment for 2 reasons. 1. I wanted to have something to show for the time apart. Something I worked on and achieved while we did this year deployment. 2. I chose the camera in manual mode so he wouldn't miss this childhood of our 1st born son who was only 9 months when he left. I went on a mission for my images to feel like he could watch him grow. And that's how I began into storytelling photography.
