I was looking for ways to be creative in my self-portrait, but also reflective of how I have been feeling in the last year. I was in my dining room and I have this large picture of my daughter that I took years ago and I noticed my reflection in it and the light pouring in. It spoke to me. I love this country, I love everything that our flag stands for. I am praying for healing and unity within a place that I feel so fortunate to live in.
