As the sun was about to go down, I looked out the kitchen window and saw a bright red cardinal pop against the white blossoms and the light blue sky. I put the 70-200mm lens on my camera so I could zoom in from the yard, and I tried various angles, waiting to capture the bird in a position I liked.
