After 35 years in the United States, and the death of her husband of 42 years, Iris returned to her home country Germany. She and her spoiled corgi Watson reside in the city of Hannover (Lower Saxony). Iris' passion is to create images for small businesses and meaningful portraits of individuals. She also greatly enjoys photographing food, and Iris dreams of photographing some famous chefs in their restaurants.
