I wanted to capture my older son in his element with his soccer ball. He's also a subject that I don't take pictures of too often anymore, and his expression and pose reflects where he is, as a preteen. His brother sat nearby, as a sidekick. I used my 70-200mm lens so I could isolate them from the background. I was also drawn into the rich greens of late spring in Vermont.
