I love to observe the light in our house, which changes with each season, and even with each month. The afternoon light on the west side of our house is particularly intriguing to me at this time of year, and I wanted to create a self portrait using the strong light coming through the windows that revealed such strong lines of light and shadow. I used my 24-70mm lens and shot wide, so I could capture the depth of the space.
