I am a graduate of the University of Georgia, with a background in Advertising/Graphic Design and Art History. I've been blessed to be doing what I love for a living for nearly 10 years. I began my career as a professional photographer in 2009 and shot my first birth in 2011. Not long after, I decided to specialize in birth photography and family photojournalism in 2013. Since then I've been blessed to have photographed over 100 births and counting. Through the years I have garnered trusted relationships with countless doctors, midwives, anesthesiologists, nurses, and hospital staff, as well as gained a wealth of knowledge regarding prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. I love the Lord and continually try to use my business as a mini-ministry. I'm a wife to a handsome South African gentleman. He's my real life Jack Pearson. I'm a mother to two of the sweetest kiddos, they've singlehandedly shaped me as a photographer and how I see the world. I'm a hopeless romantic. An avid people watcher. And I have empathy coming out the wazoo. My feelers are pointed out into the world, as I constantly observe the feelings and interactions of others. I'm obsessed with the details and the subtle nuances of everyday life. I seek to always find beauty in the mundane.
